The state offers some of the best streams and lakes this side of the
New World. Consider the 10 world-class blue-ribbon trout streams that wind

Teton River seems to have fish biting when no other waterway in the
area has them. It's one of the most trusted spots for fishing in the area,

One stretch of the river, called Bitch Creek, is home to fish no
shorter than 14 inches and sometimes as long as 18 inches and up.
Yellowstone National Park is worth a whole fishing trip all to
itself. The three big lakes in the park, Yellowstone Lake, Shoshone Lake and
Lewis Lake, can match Teton River with trout the length of a man's arm.
With 175 other lakes - such as the aptly-named Trout Lake, Wolf Lake,

Snake River. This winding fly fisherman's paradise offers the seclusion, and
more importantly, the bites, to make any angler feel like they're living in the
movie A River Runs Through It. One of the most famous Teton Valley
fishing locations, and one of the best in the whole state, is here.
Called Henry's Fork, this section of the river is a mecca for trout
hunters. The South Fork section of the Snake River also backs up its
reputation as one of the most jumping, and beautiful, fishing holes in the
West.
Family Fishing Waters are designated fishing holes located through Teton
Valley and Idaho. They are perfect to take out your favorite junior angler.
Developed by the Idaho Fish and Game department, they offer year-round
seasons and no limits on length or tackle. Plus, there are only limits on the
amount of bass, trout, walleye, and pike that you catch and keep. That
makes fishing simple and fun for the whole family.
