Resort Communities in Jackson Hole: Where the Wild and the Wise Investor Meet
Invest in a resort community, and you could have it all. These type of neighborhoods are
attractive, trendy, and exclusive, and they come with the security and privacy of a gated
community. And we're talking Wyoming here, too, so they are nestled in some of the most
beautiful country in all of Big Sky country. If you want to do more than just look at the
scenery, resort communities in Jackson Hole and other big areas also feature outdoor
activities galore - skiing, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, biking - you name it.
One such resort community is Spring Creek Ranch. All of its choice condos, homes, and rooms
are set 1,000 feet above Jackson Hole within perfect viewing distance of the Teton Mountain
Range. That means it's close enough to partake in the revelry and sports down in Jackson
Hole. Or keep to yourself, write that Great American Novel, and relax in your own private
sanctuary in the mountains. Or do neither and instead hit the Wilderness Adventure Spa,
hike, fish, ride your horse, or white-water raft your days away.
A second option is the 3 Creek Ranch. On the 1,000 acre ranch, pick from such real-estate
options as the limited cabin home site, with its more than one-half an acre of property.
Or pick one of the even more select estate sites, which range from 1.5 to 4.5 acres.
The largest and most sought after properties are the 35-acre estates, which are practically
like having your own county in Wyoming.
Snake River Sporting Club is another option in the resort community market in Wyoming. With
130 houses on 554 acres, you share your property with the 60 species of mammal, eight game
fish, and 10 bird. That's because 90 percent of the property is reserved for Nature.
If those numbers are convincing enough, check out the list of sporting and recreation
activities available at Snake River: championship golfing, fly fishing, tennis, squash,
equestrian, hiking, skiing and heli skiing, and rafting. That's on top of the fitness
center, spa, and members' lodge. No wonder they call it a "sporting club".
These three resorts are by no means the only resort communities in Wyoming, but they
represent an appealing cross-section of your options. Of course, you could just stay in
your first family home in suburbia, with your neighbors a footstep or two away, and your
in-laws even closer.
