Real Living at Resort Communities in Teton Valley
My friends, it doesn't hurt to live in your own personal paradise. We're not talking about
your recliner in the living room either. We're talking about Big Sky country. The Wild West.
Teton Valley, Idaho. We're talking your own slice of heaven, or in this case, a piece of
property at a resort community.
For those of you not familiar with heaven, a resort community is an attractive neighborhood
built to blend into the natural - and wild - settings of Teton Valley, Idaho. Your home
there could be part ranch, part cottage, and you could share your backyard with wild birds,
a stream full of fish, and maybe a moose or two. And because man and woman are outdoor
creatures, too, the resort community also makes available all that these creatures could
want - golfing, skiing, hiking, tubing, biking, not to mention the creature comforts of spas
and dining.
River Rim Ranch is one such slice of heaven. Set on 898.5 acres are 55 home sites and 20
cabin lots, all situated along the edges of the property, so as to not upset the nature
within. Situated along the Teton River, there is possibly no more wild and beautiful patch
of America left to own, and River Rim has made sure to keep it that way. They have left
the river as open space, available to anglers, hikers, horse riders, thinkers, and gazers.
The Village at Teton Springs is a resort community of a different ilk, leaning more toward
the cowboy chic side of the new West. The Village will feature shopping, dining, conference
facilities, and most other commercial opportunities. For sports, you can try the Byron
Nelson championship golf course, the tennis courts, pool, or basketball court. And for
real estate, options include the custom home sites, secluded cabins, or Mountain Meadows
residences.
Teton Reserves are situated on the base of the Teton Mountains in the Teton Valley, only
minutes away from the two grandest national parks in the nation, Yellowstone and Grand
Teton. The community itself features some of the best fly-fishing in Idaho, which says a
lot, as well as its own top-notch golf course. Any other outdoor activity is a possibility
too, from biking to backpacking, rafting to horse riding. Plus, Jackson Hole and Grand
Targhee ski resorts are only about a half-hour drive away.
With these three examples, you get the point. The resort communities in and around Teton
Valley and elsewhere in Idaho are a nirvana. Whether as a retirement home or a vacation
property, these slices of Mother Nature will bring you to your happy place, no matter
what form of fun and relaxation it takes.
