West Bank North, Jackson Hole

Search for real estate in Jackson Hole.

Nestled between Teton Village and Wilson, there is one of the most exclusive, finely developed strips of real estate in Jackson Hole. Heck, it's so nice in the northern section of the West Bank that it may be one of the best places to live west of the Mississippi.

That being said, this 2-mile wide stretch of land is also one of the most exclusive areas to live in and around Jackson Hole. Real estate prices range from $500,000 to $20 million. Price usually depends on how good the view is of the Grand Teton Mountains, and any sort of water landscaping you may have on the property. Don't fret, though, if these figures are a bit above your budget. There are condos that can go for less than $200,000, in such developments as the Aspens Racquet Club Resort.

Starting at the south end of the northern West Bank, there is an older, eclectic mix of real estate around Fish Creek Road. It offers a kooky collection of log cabins, humongous gated communities, the bohemian artist shacks, and even condos packed on every couch with skiers and bar hoppers.

If you want more exclusive areas, try subdivisions such as the Willow Brook Subdivision. It is practically brand-new, and it offers buyers with the means and opportunity to be as close as can be to both Jackson and the mountain resort at Jackson Hole. It features approximately 20 three-acre lots that won't leave anything to be desired in vistas and natural landscaping.

Exclusive enough to give Willow Brook a run for its money, there are Tucker Ranch and John Dodge. Tucker Ranch subdivision is a virtually new development, while John Dodge is the most established subdivision in the area. If you had to rate these developments by their exclusivity and privacy, John Dodge would probably take first place.

If remoteness is more important to you than top-end luxury, you must check out the Hidden Hills Ranch. Hidden Hills offers quietude as well as large lots. In addition it is still within an easy drive to both the small town of Wilson to west on route 22, and even Jackson to the east.
